What a fun week at the schoolhouse. A unique adventure staying in this remodeled schoolhouse. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Classroom experience was awesome!! Thank you.

The Knot Your Average Weaving Retreat was fabulous! I learned many new weaving techniques and explored a great variety of materials in my woven pieces. Terry Neal was patient and helpful! She had many examples that showed exciting possibilities for weaving on a table loom. She paced the instruction well and provided individual attention when it was requested. It was a delight to be with other fiber enthusiasts in a beautiful setting. The Nome Schoolhouse staff are all friendly and attentive, making a stay there a memorable and relaxing experience.

It was a fantastic week!
The instructor, Beth Trotti, was a great teacher. She taught everything that the was in the description and more. Her teaching methods were very helpful and she made sure that everyone understood what was being taught, and was very reassuring that with practice the skills that she taught us would improve. Beth was available to answer any and all questions that the class had. I am very happy to have taken the workshop, and would not hesitate to take additional classes from her.
The Nome Schoolhouse was an awesome place to stay. It was a cozy and welcoming experience. The staff were very friendly and made me feel right at home.
I look forward to another visit to the Nome Schoolhouse and will keep an eye out for more spinning classes from Beth.

I learned so much in this class. Beth is extremely knowledgeable and is really able to teach in a way that makes it fun. Nome Schoolhouse never disappoints! The staff goes above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. Can’t wait for the next one.

Was a fun day, the teacher was great a but a little more explaining of the steps when we actually got to that step. besides a group explanation when we weren't to the step yet. The meal could have been better. The facility was excellent.
